 Newspaper Cartoonist Will Spencer's cartoons were first published in the 1950s. His career spanned 40 years.

His universally popular pocket cartoon 'Animal Crackers' ran for nearly 20 years first in the London News Chronicle and later in the London Daily Mail. Some of the other cartoon art he created, included his series 'Moments with Mama', 'Little Angels' and 'The Lovebirds'.

The Times newspaper described his 'Animal Crackers' cartoons as endearingly depicted animals and birds, as often as not portrayed with gentle humour in comically disastrous situations.









Moments with Mama ran successfully for many years during the 60s and 70s in the Womans Own.
